What Will You Be Doing in This Role?

As a Customer Experience Intern, your job is all about helping people and solving problems. You’ll speak to Sage customers over the phone, help them with account issues, and show them how to use Sage tools like their IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system and customer portal. You’ll also work closely with Sage’s internal teams to find the right solutions.

Here’s what your day might look like:

  • Call customers and update their information on Sage systems
  • Help customers solve problems with their accounts
  • Teach customers how to use the IVR and other online tools
  • Spot patterns and tell your team leaders about common problems
  • Learn how the whole business fits together

Who Should Apply?

This role is great for someone who:

  • Has Matric (Grade 12)
  • Has a Diploma or Degree (not required but a bonus)
  • Can use a computer and basic Microsoft Office apps
  • Speaks well and listens carefully
  • Understands or is willing to learn about Accounting, Payroll, or HR
  • Has a clear criminal record
  • Can work well with both customers and co-workers
  • Is friendly, motivated, and willing to learn
  • Can write and speak clearly in English

How to Apply for the Sage Internship 2025

  4. If your interview goes well, you’ll be invited to an Assessment Centre.
  5. If you’re selected, you’ll start the internship on 1 August 2025 for a 12-month period.
