Here’s What You’ll Do On The Job
Let’s break down your day-to-day duties:
1. Security Screening Support
- Help employees and visitors through the screening process
- Capture personal data on the correct systems
- Guide people through the form-filling steps
2. Biometric and Card Access Management
- Handle clocking cards, including cleaning and equipment care
- Manage biometric enrollments and issue access cards
3. Data Handling and System Management
- Keep files organized and up to date
- Input and track screening results on spreadsheets
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports
4. Compliance and Auditing
- Ensure documents are complete and ready for audits
- Maintain clean and secure data separation
- Destroy outdated files when needed
5. Communication & Support
- Answer system-related questions and offer support
- Work with outside partners like MIE and MQA
- Assist with ESS onboarding approvals
Minimum Requirements to Apply

- Matric / Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)
- At least 2 years working in a data-heavy admin role—preferably in mining or security
- Solid experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with vetting or screening is a big plus
- A valid driver’s licence is beneficial
- Must be medically fit to work in a mining area
- Must pass a clear credit and security check
The Ideal Candidate Will Be Someone Who:
- Knows how to work with sensitive data
- Is great with organizing and sorting information
- Can write up reports and handle large spreadsheets
