Minimum Requirements

To apply, you need:

Grade 10 or ABET (NQF Level 1–4)
Relevant work experience in cleaning or similar tasks
Ability to operate cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuum, urn)
Ability to read and write
Good communication and listening skills
Basic planning, organising, and people skills
A driver’s licence will be an added advantage, but it’s not mandatory

What You’ll Do in This Job

Your main duties will include:

Cleaning offices and maintaining an orderly work environment
Cleaning government (GG) vehicles and taking care of cleaning equipment
Ordering and managing cleaning supplies
Delivering documents, parcels, and messages within the department
Following supervisor instructions for ad-hoc tasks
Ensuring cleanliness standards are met in all assigned areas
