ABSA Financial Adviser Learnership Programme

Absa invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Face-to-Face Financial Adviser Learnership Programme in the Eastern Cape. This opportunity is open to unemployed youth, and the closing date for applications is 16 December 2025. If you are hoping to break into the financial world and begin a stable career with one of Africa’s biggest and most respected banks, this learnership might be the doorway you have been waiting for.

A Look Into Why This Opportunity Matters

Absa has built its reputation over more than 100 years, serving customers across Africa with professionalism, trust, and a deep understanding of financial needs. Today the bank continues to expand as a proudly African group, and they want young people to be part of that growth. If you have ever wondered how financial advisers help families, workers, and businesses plan their future, this programme gives you a real chance to learn those skills and start building a career from the ground up.

Many young people struggle because most jobs want someone with experience. This learnership solves that problem by giving you training, guidance, and daily workplace exposure all at the same time. It is especially valuable for people who studied Finance, Law, Accounting, or similar fields and want to grow inside the banking environment.

What This Learnership Offers You

A Full 12-Month Training and Work Experience Journey

This is a 12-month learnership designed for unemployed youth in the Eastern Cape. You will work as a Trainee Financial Adviser, learning how to talk to clients, offer financial guidance, understand banking systems, and meet business targets. Although it is a training programme, the experience you collect is real and can help you unlock future job opportunities inside or outside the bank.
