What You’ll Be Doing

As a Contract Operator at Adcock Ingram, your duties will include a variety of important production tasks that help ensure products meet quality and safety standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operating pouching and filling lines to ensure efficient production.
  • Understanding and assisting with the printing process of product bags.
  • Helping with loading, sealing, and packaging of finished units.
  • Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.
  • Inspecting units for missing parts, illegible print, or incorrect fill volumes.
  • Removing defective or damaged units to maintain product quality.
  • Assisting with material handling and organizing supplies needed for daily production.
  • Helping with cleaning and sanitation of the production area as per company guidelines.
  • Supporting other departmental activities when required to ensure smooth workflow.

What You’ll Need to Qualify

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
  • 1 to 2 years of working experience, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be an advantage.
