About the Role

As a Permanent Part-Timer at ADIDAS, your main goal is to assist management with day-to-day store operations and make sure every customer has an excellent shopping experience. You’ll be part of a team that keeps the store running smoothly, ensures products are well-stocked and displayed, and helps customers find exactly what they are looking for.

This is a hands-on role, perfect for people who love fashion, enjoy working with others, and are ready to take on a variety of responsibilities in a busy store.


Key Responsibilities

Your tasks as a part-time store team member will include:

  • Providing top-level customer service to every shopper who walks through the door.
  • Completing sales transactions, including cash, credit, and check payments when needed.
  • Assisting with ticketing products and verifying paperwork against items received.
  • Supporting the movement of products from the stockroom to the sales floor.
  • Helping create attractive merchandise displays according to management instructions.
  • Learning the point-of-sale system and following store policies to ensure accuracy.
  • Using selling techniques such as upselling products and sharing product information to help meet store sales goals.
  • Greeting customers and assisting them in finding the perfect product. On busy days, you may serve as a front-door greeter.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and general housekeeping standards in the store.
  • Safeguarding company assets by handling products and cash responsibly.

Skills and Qualities Needed

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A passion for retail and customer service.
  • Strong ability to use your initiative and work independently when needed.
  • Clear and upbeat communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Previous fashion retail experience is a bonus but not required.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Matric certificate or equivalent.
  • 0–1 year of retail experience is acceptable.
