About the Tactical Officer Role

As a Tactical Officer at ADT Security, you will play a leading role in coordinating and executing tactical operations. Your duties will require you to stay calm under pressure, think strategically, and act swiftly to maintain safety during complex and high-risk situations. Key Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

Planning and managing tactical operations such as raids, rescues, and high-risk interventions.
Collaborating with law enforcement agencies and other security partners during joint missions.
Training team members in tactical procedures, weapon safety, and combat readiness.
Developing effective strategies to achieve operational success with minimal risk.
Conducting threat and risk assessments before and during operations.
Maintaining and checking tactical gear, firearms, and vehicles to ensure constant readiness.
Leading your team in the field, ensuring that everyone follows strict operational protocols.
Reviewing operations afterward to identify lessons learned and improve future performance.
Staying updated on tactical trends and security innovations to keep the team at peak efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for the Tactical Officer position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

PSIRA Registration: Grade B or C (essential).
Experience: At least 3 years in armed response, cash-in-transit (CIT), or 3rd man roles.
Weapons Competency: Valid certification in handgun, shotgun, and self-loading rifle use (mandatory).
Physical Fitness: Must be in excellent physical condition and capable of performing under stress.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team during high-risk operations.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English communication.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of weapon handling, security systems, and tactical planning.
Adaptability: Ability to make quick decisions under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
