Job Overview – What You’ll Be Doing

As a Warehouse Assistant at AECI Animal Health, you will be responsible for keeping the warehouse running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll handle materials, check stock, label goods, and assist with the movement of raw and finished products in and out of the warehouse.

Your main tasks will include:

Receiving goods and checking deliveries
Labeling, sorting, and preparing goods for storage
Picking and staging products for dispatch
Loading and offloading items safely and properly
Maintaining equipment in good working order
Following good housekeeping practices to keep your area clean
Sticking to safety rules (SHE policies) at all times
Making sure you meet quality standards
Helping with stock control and record keeping

This role is hands-on and suited for someone who is physically active, reliable, and comfortable in a structured environment where accuracy and safety are top priorities.

What You’ll Need to Qualify

To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet all the following requirements:

✅ Grade 12 / Matric certificate
✅ At least 5 years of experience working in a warehouse or stores environment
✅ At least 3 years working with computerised systems in a warehouse
✅ Must know how to use scanners and digital stock systems
✅ Computer literacy – basic MS Office skills are essential
✅ Valid forklift and reach truck license
✅ Valid Code 10 driver’s license
✅ Must understand stock management and safety compliance
