Key Responsibilities

The Cleaner Reliever will be responsible for providing a professional and efficient cleaning service across corporate office areas. Your duties will include:

  • Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, kitchen and canteen areas, ablutions, internal windows, and common areas.
  • Dusting, sanitising, and disinfecting surfaces and equipment to maintain a hygienic workspace.
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining floors to meet cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Emptying waste bins regularly and following proper waste disposal procedures.
  • Maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and reporting shortages to your supervisor.
  • Following established cleaning procedures and checklists for consistent service.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Assisting with special cleaning projects as directed by management.
  • Participating in training sessions to improve techniques and learn new equipment.
  • Providing feedback on cleaning practices to improve service quality.
  • Collaborating positively with team members, office staff, and clients.

Education, Experience, and Skills

To qualify for this role, candidates should have:

  • Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a corporate or commercial cleaning environment.
  • Basic understanding of hygiene practices, including handling cleaning materials safely.
  • Familiarity with facility layouts to ensure efficient cleaning processes.
  • Knowledge of different cleaning products, tools, and safety measures.
