Key Responsibilities

As part of your daily tasks, you’ll be expected to:

• Follow all pre-cleaning preparation requirements as per standard operating procedures.
• Wash pots, pans, and traps while keeping work areas tidy and organized.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, toilets, and change rooms.
• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors using appropriate cleaning equipment.
• Vacuum offices and maintain general workplace hygiene.
• Dispose of waste safely and clean garbage bins and waste barrels.
• Operate and maintain power-operated dishwashers safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all work areas comply with HACCP and health codes.
• Pack garments for laundering and deep-clean equipment when required.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and report any maintenance issues.
• Cooperate with colleagues and management to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Work shifts, weekends, and public holidays based on operational needs.
• Adhere to Halaal Ethics, Security, SHEQ, and Food Safety Management System guidelines.

This position requires strong attention to detail and a willingness to take on new tasks as required by management.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience in a cleaning environment.
• Willingness to undergo internal food safety and HACCP training.
