Position: Lab Cleaner
Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 5-day work schedule
Location: South Africa

What Will You Do as a Lab Cleaner?

As a Lab Cleaner, your main role is to ensure the lab is always clean, safe, and hygienic. You’ll help maintain a healthy workspace for staff and ensure equipment is spotless and ready to use. Here’s a closer look at your daily tasks:

Clean and Organize: Keep departmental offices, the training room, fridges, freezers, storerooms, and the lab sparkling clean.
Restock Supplies: Make sure consumables are always available.
Support Staff: Help with general office duties when needed.
Client Relations: Maintain a friendly attitude to promote a professional image of Ampath.

What You Need to Apply

Minimum Education: Grade 10 or Grade 12 (preferred).
Experience: While not mandatory, having experience in a pathology lab or knowledge of cleaning processes and safety regulations like the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA) is a big plus.
