Learners who are accepted into the programme can specialize in one of the following high-demand trades:

  • Diesel Mechanic
  • Instrumentation
  • Fitter
  • Boilermaker
  • Auto Electrician
  • Electrician
  • Rigger
  • Millwright (requires 5 relevant subjects instead of 4)

Entry Requirements – Who Can Apply?

  • Education: Grade 12 certificate and an N2 certificate with four relevant subjects (Millwright applicants must have five relevant subjects).
  • Medical Fitness: You must pass a medical job-fit assessment (RFA).
  • Residency: Preference will be given to candidates who live in the Tsantsabane Municipality.
  • Age: You must be between 18 and 35 years old.
