Each position plays an important role in helping people apply for and receive their UIF benefits quickly and fairly.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify, you need:
- Matric / Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- To understand laws like:
- The Unemployment Insurance Act
- Labour Relations Act
- Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
- POPIA (Protection of Personal Info)
- Be familiar with the Batho Pele Principles
- Have no criminal record
- Be a South African citizen
- Be eligible to work in the public sector
What You’ll Be Doing
- Help people submit UIF claims and check if their papers are in order
- Do background checks on the claims
- Support the office with admin tasks
- Make sure payments go through the system without delays
- Talk to people in person, by phone, or online
- Visit businesses to check on employer info if needed
- Work with others to make the whole system faster and smoother
You Need These Skills
- Good with people and easy to talk to

- Know how to use a computer (Word, Excel, Email, etc.)
- Can understand rules and follow laws
- Stay calm under pressure and finish your work on time
