🌱 What You’ll Be Doing as a Seasonal Labourer:
In this job, you’ll work closely with farm management and other team members to make sure everything on the farm runs smoothly. Here’s what your typical day might include:
- Doing farm tasks like planting, pruning, watering, and harvesting fruit.
- Using farm tools and equipment like chainsaws and brush cutters (don’t worry — you’ll be trained!).
- Helping out with general labor tasks that keep the farm neat and productive.
- Following safety rules to keep yourself and others safe while working.
- Taking care of the equipment and keeping it in good shape.
- Supporting farm operations as directed by your supervisor.
🎓 What You Need to Apply:
You don’t need a lot of schooling or past job experience to apply — this is a great entry-level opportunity! Here’s what you should have:
- At least a Grade 10 school certificate OR some basic experience working on a fruit farm.
- Any past work in harvesting tropical or sub-tropical fruits is a big plus.
