ASI Connect Invites Suitably Qualified Applicants to Apply for Their ICS Cleaner Vacancies. The Closing Date for Applications Is Open Until Positions Are Filled.
ASI Connect is currently looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to apply for full-time, permanent Cleaner positions within its ICS cleaning division. This opportunity is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping spaces clean, organised, and welcoming. If you have cleaning experience, enjoy working with your hands, and are looking for stable employment, this role could be a good fit for you.
The Cleaner position plays an important role in ensuring that all company spaces remain clean, safe, and professional at all times. From offices and reception areas to kitchens and restrooms, your work will directly affect the comfort and well-being of staff and visitors.
As a Cleaner at ASI Connect, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining both public and private areas within the company. This includes daily cleaning tasks, regular deep cleaning, and making sure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and used correctly.
This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, consistency, and a strong work ethic. You will be expected to follow cleaning schedules and ensure that all areas are neat before the end of each workday.
A large part of your daily duties will involve cleaning entrance areas, reception spaces, and offices. This includes emptying rubbish bins and shredders every day to keep workspaces tidy and organised. Carpets must be vacuumed and floors mopped twice a week to maintain cleanliness and reduce dust.
You will dust desks, chairs, tables, shelves, picture frames, and window sills regularly. Office equipment such as telephones, printers, and computers must be wiped down with a damp cloth twice a week. Glass doors need to be cleaned daily, while windows are cleaned inside and outside once a month.
Other tasks include removing cobwebs, wiping fingerprints from light switches and door frames, dusting blinds and light fittings weekly, and spot-cleaning walls and painted surfaces. You will also collect rubbish from outside entrances and between buildings to ensure the company premises always look neat and professional.
Restroom cleaning is a very important responsibility. You will clean and disinfect toilets and urinals every day to maintain hygiene standards. Basins, mirrors, and splash areas must be cleaned, sanitised, and polished daily.
Floors in restrooms are mopped daily using disinfectant. You will empty rubbish and sanitary bins, replace liners, and make sure all supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap are always available. Partitions, mirror frames, and high surfaces must be dusted regularly.
Hand towels must be washed weekly, and door handles, hand dryers, and cabinet covers must be wiped down often to reduce the spread of germs.
Clean kitchens help create a comfortable work environment. Your duties in kitchen areas will include removing rubbish, replacing bin liners, and mopping floors with disinfectant. Cupboards, counters, window sills, and tables must be wiped down regularly.
You will wash dishes, cups, plates, and cutlery throughout the day and ensure all kitchen appliances are kept clean. Sinks, taps, and work surfaces must be sanitised daily. You will also refill paper towels, soap dispensers, and help restock kitchen supplies, including items in the fridge when required.
Common areas such as staircases and passages must also be kept clean. You will remove rubbish, sweep and mop floors with disinfectant, and polish railings. These areas are used often, so regular cleaning helps keep everyone safe and comfortable.
From time to time, you may be asked to assist with serving tea, coffee, or refreshments to managers and visitors. You may also help prepare areas for meetings or company functions when needed.
Part of your role includes keeping cleaning equipment and supplies well organised. The cleaning storeroom must always be neat, tidy, and stocked. You may also be asked to take on other reasonable duties that match your skills and experience.
No formal qualification is required for this role, but you must have at least two years of previous cleaning experience. This experience helps ensure that you understand proper cleaning methods and workplace expectations.
You must be a hard worker who can complete tasks without constant supervision. Being reliable and punctual is very important. You should also be able to communicate in English or Afrikaans, as this is necessary for understanding instructions and working with colleagues.
This is a full-time, permanent position. Applicants will be asked about their salary expectations as part of the application process. English is a required language for this role.
If you are interested in this Cleaner position and meet the requirements, you can submit your application by email. Applications should be sent to recruits@asiconnect.co.za.
This opportunity is suitable for individuals who are committed, dependable, and ready to work in a structured environment. If you take pride in cleanliness and are looking for steady work, applying for this role could be a positive step forward in your career.
