Key Performance Areas:
- Coffining of the Deceased: Prepare and place the deceased in coffins with utmost care and respect.
- Legal Documentation: Obtain all necessary legal documents required for burials and cremations.
- Funeral Records: Maintain and file all funeral records accurately and promptly.
- Assist Funeral Conductor: Work with the funeral conductor to ensure everything is completed and checked before the funeral.
- Maintain Standards: Follow and uphold AVBOB’s company policies and standards.
- Promote Hygiene: Ensure the mortuary meets high hygiene standards.
- Cleaning Duties: Clean the mortuary and maintain the fleet.
- Administration: Keep all administrative tasks up to date.
- Liaison: Regularly communicate with drivers, clerks, and the admin head to address any queries within 24 hours before repatriation.
- Data Backups: Perform daily backups of all data and administration records.
- Accuracy in Coffining: Ensure all coffining procedures are accurate and complete.
- Additional Duties: Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the admin head.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Matric (Grade 12) is required.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Industry Experience: Experience in the funeral industry, including burials and cremations, and knowledge of the necessary documentation.
