About the Aerosol Cleaner Job

This position is a permanent part-time role where you will work 80 hours per month. As an Aerosol Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining high hygiene standards in the production areas, ensuring that the factory operates smoothly and safely.

You will report directly to the Production Controller and work closely with the technical and production teams to support world-class operations.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

1. General Cleaning Duties

• Mopping production and service plant areas as needed.
• Cleaning all stainless-steel surfaces, including pipework in the production and service plant.
• Daily dusting and cleaning of flat surfaces where dust can collect.
• Keeping drains in production areas clean and clear.
• Washing and sanitizing all production utensils.
• Maintaining cleanliness in outside yard areas.

2. Ad Hoc Cleaning Duties

• Cleaning machinery as instructed by the Technical Operator, Production Controller, or Factory Manager.

3. Safety and Hygiene

• Following all company safety and hygiene rules at all times.
• Reporting any safety hazards immediately.

4. Continuous Improvement

• Suggesting better ways of working to improve quality and productivity.
• Reporting any problems that may slow down production.

What You Need to Qualify

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

Education:

• Matric / Grade 12 is required.

Experience:

• 1 to 3 years’ experience working in an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of cleaning experience.

Additional Skills:

• Good housekeeping skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
