What You Will Be Doing Each Day

Supporting Technicians With Inspections

You will assist qualified technicians in inspecting heavy earthmoving machinery. These machines are massive and require detailed checks to make sure they are safe and running correctly. By helping with inspections, you learn how machines operate and what problems to look out for.

Helping With Troubleshooting and Repairs

Another important part of the role is assisting technicians with basic troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, and repairs. You will not be expected to know everything on day one, but you will gradually learn how to diagnose faults, test components, and carry out simple repair tasks. Removing and Installing Components

Minimum Qualifications

• Grade 12 or N3 with Pure Mathematics (minimum 45 percent)
• Grade 12 or N3 with English (minimum 45 percent)
