Job Overview:

As a Promotions Marketer, you’ll be responsible for creating, developing, and implementing retention marketing activities aimed at increasing customer engagement, activity, and revenue. Your focus will be on the customer journey, ensuring that casino bettors receive ongoing value and that their experience with Betway is always engaging and rewarding. You will play a key role in growing the South African market by delivering innovative and competitive promotional campaigns.

What You’ll Do:

Retention Strategy: Develop and execute retention campaigns to ensure Betway stays competitive, relevant, and customer-focused.

Market Analysis: Continuously analyse competitor strategies to create exciting, localised campaigns that resonate with Betway’s customer base.

Customer Personalisation: Develop tailored promotions for different customer segments, making sure each player feels valued and engaged.

Lifecycle Calendar: Take full responsibility for maintaining a dynamic lifecycle calendar to drive retention through engaging, localised offers.

Result Analysis: Measure the effectiveness of your campaigns, reporting on results, outcomes, and lessons learned to improve future strategies.

Cross-Functional Support: Assist the Customer Experience (CX) Team Lead in analysing customer behaviour, adapting communications, and testing new approaches to enhance conversion and retention rates.

Skills & Experience You’ll Need:

Marketing Degree or equivalent experience.
3+ Years of Experience: You should have at least three years of marketing experience, preferably within the betting or online casino industry.
Strong Analytical Skills: You should be able to analyse market trends and use data to develop strategic marketing plans.
Project Management: Strong project management skills are essential, as you’ll be handling multiple campaigns at once.

Attention to Detail: Excellent presentation skills and a keen eye for detail.
Commercial Acumen: Strategic mindset with proven experience driving commercial success.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work well with a diverse team and negotiate across different departments.
