Bidvest International Logistics YES Programme for Unemployed Youth 2026

Bidvest International Logistics is calling on young, motivated South Africans to apply for their 2026 YES Programme vacancies. This opportunity is open to unemployed youth across the country who meet the requirements. The programme runs for 12 months, and the closing date for applications is 21 November 2025. Young people who want real work experience in logistics and transport are encouraged to apply before the deadline.

Why This Opportunity Matters

Many young people in South Africa struggle to get their first real job because they lack work experience. This programme offers a rare chance to gain workplace skills, understand the logistics industry, and build confidence while earning practical knowledge. Bidvest International Logistics is one of the biggest and most trusted logistics companies in the country, so being part of their YES Programme can set you up for a strong career path.

Understanding Who Bidvest International Logistics Is

Bidvest International Logistics, also called BIL, is a well-known transport and logistics company that has existed for more than 100 years. The company started in 1910 and has grown into a respected name in both local and international logistics. Through its partnership with EMO Trans, BIL is connected to a network that spans more than 120 countries and over 250 offices worldwide. This gives them the power and experience to move goods by air, sea, and road.

BIL handles many important services, including air freight, sea freight, warehousing, customs processes, and helping companies manage their supply chains better. They operate in all major ports and airports in South Africa, which makes this programme especially valuable because it exposes youth to real work in busy logistics environments.

What the YES Programme Is All About

The YES (Youth Employment Service) Programme is a national initiative that brings together the government and various companies to help reduce youth unemployment. Through this programme, young people get workplace exposure and training designed to improve their chances of getting future jobs.

When you join BIL’s YES Programme, you get hands-on experience and structured training that help you grow your skills. You also gain a portfolio of evidence, which can be very helpful when applying for future jobs. This programme is perfect for young people who are serious about starting a long-term career in logistics, transportation, or supply chain work.
