What This Internship Is About

This Internal Audit Internship is your chance to gain real-world experience while learning from some of the best minds in the business. As an Internal Audit Trainee, you’ll help the audit team review and evaluate how the company operates. You’ll look at processes, identify risks, check how effective internal systems are, and make recommendations that help BKB run smoothly and efficiently.

You’ll be part of a professional team that values accuracy, honesty, and continuous improvement. Your role will directly contribute to strengthening governance, risk management, and compliance within the organisation. In simple terms, you’ll help ensure everything runs the way it should.

Who Can Apply

BKB is looking for young, motivated individuals who are serious about their career and ready to learn. To qualify for this internship, you need to have one of the following qualifications:

  • A BCom, BTech, or Bachelor’s degree in:

    • Finance

While experience is not required, having two years of experience in internal or external auditing will be an added advantage. You should also be familiar with audit methodologies, internal controls, and basic data analysis. Experience using Microsoft Office will be beneficial since most reports and findings are prepared digitally.

Because the job may involve travel to different branches or audit sites, a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are essential.

  • Team Spirit – Be ready to collaborate, learn from feedback, and build positive relationships.
  • Time Management – The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines will be crucial.
  • Strong Writing Skills – You’ll be expected to prepare clear, accurate reports after each audit.
  • Professional Ethics – BKB values integrity, confidentiality, and accountability above all.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Internal Audit Trainee at BKB, your daily tasks will include a mix of planning, investigating, and reporting. Some of your key duties will be:

  • Helping plan and conduct internal audit projects.
  • Evaluating internal controls and operational processes to identify weaknesses.
  • Spotting risks and suggesting improvements to make systems more efficient.
  • Preparing audit documentation, including working papers and detailed findings.
  • Supporting senior auditors during audits and client meetings.

You’ll be exposed to real company operations, work closely with senior auditors, and build a foundation for a lasting career.

If you have a curious mind, enjoy solving problems, and want to make an impact, this role will give you that opportunity. You’ll get to learn how businesses operate from the inside out, gain valuable skills, and understand how smart auditing helps companies stay on track.
