What Does a Branch Security Officer Do?

As a Branch Security Officer, you’ll be a key part of the security team at your branch. You’ll work closely with the Branch Manager to make sure everyone follows the right security procedures and that the branch stays safe at all times. This job is about more than just watching cameras – you’ll be leading by example, managing equipment, supervising staff, and making sure everything runs smoothly.

Your main tasks will include:

• Making sure the branch is secure and safe at all times
• Keeping records and writing reports about security issues
• Making sure everyone follows the right security steps
• Looking after security equipment and making sure it works
• Leading and supervising other staff members
• Checking that health and safety rules are followed

What Do You Need to Apply?

G4S is looking for someone who is responsible, trustworthy, and able to work well with others. You should be someone who can make good decisions, solve problems, and stick to the company’s policies.

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• A valid driver’s license
• A PDP license (Professional Driving Permit)
• PSIRA Grade B and CIT certification
