📞 Job Overview – What You’ll Be Doing

As a Call Centre Agent – Customer Acquisition, your main job is to help customers with credit applications, activations, and service ownership transfers. You will work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, ensuring the smooth processing of applications and providing excellent service.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

📑 Process Credit Vetting Applications – Assess customer requests for credit approval.
📱 Activate New Customers – Ensure smooth onboarding onto the Vodacom billing system.
🔄 Transfer Service Ownership – Process ownership changes accurately and efficiently.
📞 Assist Customers & Trade Partners – Provide telephonic support on credit vetting and activations.
Resolve Issues & Escalations – Handle failed activations, verification problems, and customer concerns.
📋 Ensure Policy Compliance – Follow Vodacom’s guidelines for customer acquisition.

You will play a key role in growing Vodacom’s market share while maintaining excellent customer service!

📝 Job Requirements – Do You Qualify?

✔️ Experience:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience required
  • 1 year in a call centre environment (Credit Vetting) – essential
  • Previous credit vetting experience – essential

✔️ Education:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) – essential
  • Credit-related Diploma – desired

✔️ Technical Knowledge:

  • Understanding of credit vetting processes and decision-making
  • Experience with customer verification and validation
  • Knowledge of subscriber activations and ownership transfers
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Data Capturing & Call Centre knowledge
  • Experience with Vodacom’s billing system (preferred)
