What You’ll Do:

As a cashier at Brights Hardware, your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming Customers: Be the friendly face that greets everyone who walks into the store.
• Cash Handling: Follow cash register procedures to accurately ring up sales and handle cash or card transactions.
• Packing Purchases: Carefully pack items for customers to ensure a smooth checkout process.
• Promotions Awareness: Stay informed about store promotions and help customers take advantage of the best deals.
• Security: Be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to maintain a safe shopping environment.
• Daily Tasks: Participate in stock counts and ensure your workspace is tidy and organized.

What We’re Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Educational Background: A Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Experience: At least one year of experience in a similar cashier role.
• Skills: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Team Player: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
