Job Description:

We are looking for Casual/Temporary Workers to assist in facility maintenance. This position involves preparing surfaces for painting, maintaining cleanliness and organization, handling minor repairs, and supporting general maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Surface Preparation: Clean, scrape, and sand surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of paint.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Keep the workspace organized and clean to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Minor Repairs: Assist with filling cracks, holes, and other minor surface repairs.
  • Painting Support: Help with the preparation and clean-up processes during painting tasks.
  • General Maintenance: Assist with other maintenance duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 10.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience or 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Skills: Proven experience as a painter is essential.
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for long periods and work neatly, accurately, and in an organized manner.
  • Location: Preference will be given to applicants residing in Potchefstroom.
