Job Overview – What You’ll Be Doing

As a General Worker, your main task will be to assist with the title deed verification process. You’ll be going door-to-door in communities to verify housing information and help ensure that residents receive their correct documents.

You’ll be trained on how to profile beneficiaries, record findings, and assist with follow-ups on housing issues.

Key duties include:

  • Visiting homes to verify housing title deeds
  • Helping identify the correct owners of title deeds
  • Assisting supervisors who manage title deed distribution
  • Finding beneficiaries whose deeds are still with the City
  • Helping resolve delays and reasons for title deed backlogs
  • Keeping proper records of all work completed
  • Attending community meetings when required

This job is about serving the public, so it’s important that you are comfortable speaking to people, asking questions, and listening carefully.
