Key Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Cleaner at Tsebo Cleaning and Hygiene Solutions, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

Thoroughly cleaning toilets, equipment, offices, and state properties.
Ensuring the effective use of cleaning materials and equipment.
Cleaning the reception area and offices daily.
Emptying office dustbins daily and disposing of all refuse in the designated bins.
Collecting paper waste in specially marked bins for recycling.
Checking and cleaning bathrooms twice a day.
Dusting office furniture regularly.
Vacuuming carpets at least twice a week.
Cleaning windows on the inside at least quarterly, on a rotational basis.
Storing cleaning equipment and products neatly in designated cupboards.
Assisting with the preparation of meetings in the boardroom.
Adhering to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements in line with company policies and legislation.
Maintaining high morale and motivation through effective communication.
Assisting with other duties as needed, even if they are outside your primary scope of responsibility.

Skills and Competencies:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:

Good communication skills.
Basic knowledge of general hygiene practices.
Familiarity with facility layout and cleaning products.
Ability to use various cleaning equipment and products.
Basic literacy and communication skills.
Understanding of departmental policies and procedures.
Willingness to work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications and Experience:

A minimum of a Grade 11 qualification with proven cleaning experience is required.
A Grade 12 Certificate is advantageous but not mandatory.
