What You’ll Be Doing as a Shop Assistant / Cashier

In this role, you’ll be working in one of Clicks’ busy stores, helping customers and keeping things running smoothly at the tills and on the shop floor. Your tasks will include:

• Scanning items quickly and correctly at the till.
• Handling money and making sure your cash is always balanced.
• Helping customers sign up for or use their Clicks ClubCard.
• Telling customers about special deals and promotions.
• Making sure shelves are full and everything is in its right place.
• Keeping the store clean, tidy, and looking good.
• Offering friendly, helpful service with a smile every day.
• Learning about products and helping customers find what they need.

Who Should Apply?

To qualify, you must have Grade 12 (Matric). You don’t need a lot of work experience, but it helps if you’ve worked in a shop or dealt with customers before.
