As a Shop Assistant Cashier at Clicks, your role is to create a positive shopping experience for every customer who walks into the store. You’ll handle transactions, keep the store looking great, promote products, and make sure every customer leaves with a smile.

📝 Key Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll do every day:
- Efficiently operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle payments quickly and accurately.
- Handle cash safely and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
- Actively promote the Clicks ClubCard, enrolling new members and helping customers enjoy loyalty rewards.
- Educate customers about promotions, helping them save money while shopping.
- Deliver excellent customer service by being visible, approachable, and professional.
- Maintain high merchandising standards, ensuring shelves are stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Keep up with the latest products, ranges, promotions, and store events to assist customers effectively.
- Follow all store procedures to ensure stock control, safety, and store cleanliness.
- Support Clicks’ mission to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer.
📚 Minimum Requirements
Education:
- Essential: Grade 12 (Matric).
- Desirable: 50% or higher in Maths and English at Grade 12 level.
Experience:
- Desirable: Previous retail or FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) experience is an advantage.
- Customer-facing experience is highly recommended.
