About the Role

As a Shop Assistant Cashier, you will be at the front line of the store, helping customers with their purchases, promoting products, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. You will play a key role in making customers feel valued and ensuring they leave the store happy.

Key Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

• Execute POS operations efficiently, including scanning merchandise and collecting payments.
• Handle cash safely and accurately at all times.
• Promote the Clicks clubcard and help customers sign up to achieve participation targets.
• Inform customers about current promotions to boost sales and enhance the shopping experience.
• Act as a brand ambassador, providing friendly, professional, and helpful service.
• Maintain store merchandising and housekeeping to meet Clicks’ standards.
• Keep updated on product knowledge, promotions, and events to give correct information to customers.

• Basic maths skills.
