Clicks is looking for Shop Assistants / Cashiers to provide top-notch customer service and handle store transactions efficiently. If you enjoy working with people and love a fast-paced retail environment, this job is perfect for you!
As a Shop Assistant / Cashier, your main tasks will include:
✔️ Handling sales transactions quickly and accurately at the Point of Sale (POS).
✔️ Processing payments, scanning products, and assisting with Clicks ClubCard rewards.
✔️ Keeping cash secure at all times.
✔️ Encouraging customers to sign up for the Clicks ClubCard to enjoy discounts and rewards.
✔️ Informing customers about promotions to help them save more while shopping.
✔️ Representing the Clicks brand by offering friendly and professional service.
✔️ Assisting with merchandising, restocking shelves, and keeping the store tidy.
✔️ Staying updated on products, promotions, and new arrivals to help customers find what they need.
✅ Basic math skills to handle payments and cash.
✅ A background in retail or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) is a bonus.
✅ Understanding of stock management and merchandising.
✅ Strong customer service skills to ensure a great shopping experience.
📌 Good communication—you’ll be interacting with customers all day.
📌 Strong planning and organizing skills to manage tasks efficiently.
📌 Problem-solving abilities to handle any issues that come up.
📌 Basic computer literacy for handling POS transactions.

🔹 Education: Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
🔹 Bonus: If you have at least 50% in Maths and English, that’s a plus!
🔹 Experience: While experience in retail or customer service is preferred, it’s not required—so even if you’re just starting out, you can apply!
