Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently handle all point of sale (POS) transactions, ensuring accurate scanning of merchandise and collection of payments.
- Safely manage cash handling and ensure the security of all transactions.
- Actively promote and enroll customers in the Clicks Clubcard program to meet participation targets.
- Inform customers about current promotions to drive sales and enhance their shopping experience.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by being a visible brand ambassador and providing friendly, professional assistance.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization, adhering to visual merchandising standards.
- Stay informed about product ranges, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic math skills.
- Understanding of retail/FMCG operations, including merchandising and promotions.
- Familiarity with stock management procedures.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Computer literacy and numeracy skills.
