What Is the Colgate-Palmolive Graduate Trainee Programme?

This is a structured HR graduate programme where you’ll rotate through different areas of the Human Resources department and work on real projects that impact the company. From hiring new talent to helping with company culture and employee learning programmes, you’ll be involved in it all.

You’ll be based at Colgate-Palmolive’s Midrand offices with up to 10% travel expected—just enough to keep your work exciting and varied.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Graduate Trainee, you will:

✅ Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new employees
✅ Help manage career development and training programmes
✅ Support the BBBEE and skills development teams
✅ Assist with HR documentation and ensure secure recordkeeping
✅ Coordinate the annual learning and development calendar
✅ Help organize and manage the learnership programme
✅ Work closely with HR Business Partners on culture and engagement projects
✅ Prepare for audits and annual BBBEE certification
✅ Support general Compensation and Benefits administration
✅ Generate and update HR reports and metrics
✅ Lead employee engagement activities and participate in team-building projects
