Minimum Requirements You Must Meet

Education Requirements

To qualify, you must have one of the following:

  • A minimum of an N3 qualification or Matric with Mathematics and Science, with at least 40% in each subject
  • OR 7 subjects at NCV Level 4, including Mathematics and Science, with at least 40% in each

These subjects are important because they show that you have the basic technical understanding needed for plant maintenance training.


Personal and Practical Requirements

Columbus Stainless is looking for candidates who are:

  • Practical and logical in how they think
  • Interested in equipment maintenance and technical work
  • Medically fit to work in an industrial environment
  • South African citizens
  • Willing to work shifts and overtime when required

Preference will be given to candidates who reside in the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality, so proof of residence is very important.
