Key Responsibilities

Your role as a General Worker will be divided into two main areas: General Maintenance and Garden Maintenance.

General Maintenance and Facility Support

• Receiving requests for facility maintenance and acting quickly to resolve issues.
• Conducting daily checks to ensure all facilities are working properly.
• Carrying out basic maintenance tasks such as plumbing or small repairs.
• Reporting bigger repairs to the Facilities Manager.
• Ensuring that maintenance consumables (like tools and materials) are stocked and ready.
• Storing and maintaining tools used for repairs.
• Supporting security and access control when needed.
• Helping with traffic management on school property when required.

Garden Maintenance

• Following the daily work roster and completing assigned tasks.
• Taking care of lawns, flowerbeds, and other green spaces around the school.
• Cleaning and maintaining the gardens so the school environment stays welcoming.
• Informing the Facilities Manager about gardening requirements.
• Checking gardening consumables and tools, and keeping them in good condition.
