What the Job Involves

As a Cleaner, you will handle various cleaning and maintenance tasks around the campus. You’ll play a crucial role in keeping the school clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone. Your responsibilities include:

Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning carpets in offices and common areas.
Removing trash from offices and lounge areas.
Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms daily according to specific schedules.
Cleaning inside windows, especially in conference rooms and management offices.
Dusting, disinfecting, and polishing surfaces and furniture.
Ordering cleaning supplies when necessary.
Reporting repairs or damages to your manager.
Cleaning other areas as per the schedule and signing off on completed tasks.
Replenishing restroom supplies regularly to meet standards.

Hospitality Tasks You Might Do

Restocking kitchen and boardroom supplies.
Setting up boardrooms for meetings, including arranging catering.
Preparing tea, coffee, and other refreshments for meetings.
Clearing catering items after meetings to prepare for the next one.

Additional Responsibilities

You will also need to follow instructions from your supervisor and perform any other duties assigned to ensure the smooth running of the school environment.

Who Can Apply?

Ideally, candidates should have:

A Grade 12 qualification.
Experience in cleaning or hospitality (specify the number of years if needed).
