Your Daily Duties

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of cleaning and housekeeping tasks, including:

  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and scrubbing floors
  • Polishing surfaces and keeping areas neat
  • Cleaning windows, walls, and furniture
  • Handling and removing waste properly
  • Keeping the clinic clean and hygienic at all times
  • Using and storing cleaning materials safely
  • Following all health and safety rules
  • Assisting with waste management processes
  • Helping manage cleaning equipment and linen
  • Supporting the Operational Manager with housekeeping duties
  • Attending training sessions when required

Your work will directly affect the cleanliness and safety of the clinic.


What You Need to Apply

To qualify for this job, you must have:

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills (ABET Level 1)
  • Cleaning experience in a health facility (this is important)

This means you should already understand how cleaning works in a clinic or hospital environment.
