What Will You Do On The Job?

As a cleaner at the Department of Water & Sanitation, your daily tasks will include:

  • Sweeping, scrubbing, dusting, and waxing floors.
  • Vacuuming carpets and cleaning windows.
  • Emptying dustbins and removing office waste.
  • Cleaning and freshening up offices, boardrooms, kitchens, restrooms, storerooms, and working areas.
  • Refilling soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in the restrooms.
  • Keeping track of cleaning supplies and reporting when stock is low.
  • Helping with any extra duties that may come up during the day.
