What Does a Sales Assistant Do?

As a Sales Assistant at Dis-Chem Baby City, your job is all about providing excellent customer service and making sure everything in the store runs smoothly.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Your daily tasks as a Sales Assistant will include:

• Reporting low, damaged, or expired stock to management

• Building product displays for promotions

• Have Grade 12 / Matric
• Have 6 months to 1 year of retail work experience
• Be able to speak and understand English well
• Have basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Have clear credit and criminal records
• Be willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays

If you have a Retail Business Management Certificate, that’s a bonus—but it’s not required.
