What You’ll Do in This Role

As a Frontshop Assistant, you’ll be responsible for keeping the store stocked, organized, and welcoming. Here’s what your daily tasks will include:

• Restocking merchandise and ensuring shelves are full and neatly arranged.
• Checking that all products are within their sell-by dates and applying the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle.
• Organizing stockrooms to keep them clean, safe, and easy to access.
• Reporting out-of-stock, damaged, or expired items to management immediately.
• Assisting with stocktaking and cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory.
• Flattening boxes after unpacking and taking them to designated areas for disposal.
• Ensuring all prices and labels are correct and visible.
• Maintaining merchandising displays according to The Local Choice standards.
• Providing friendly and professional assistance to customers who need help finding products.
• Following up on customer stock queries and ensuring timely feedback.
• Adhering to company policies, operating standards, and safety rules.
