Key Responsibilities

• Providing professional and courteous assistance to customers, staff, and visitors.
• Maintaining accurate records of daily activities, unusual occurrences, and incidents.
• Offering safety advice, enforcing rules, and giving warnings when necessary.
• Assisting during evacuations or crises to ensure safety and order.
• Performing special tasks such as handling calls, messages, and errands related to security operations.

This role requires someone who is alert, responsible, and able to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must have:

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
• Grade C PSIRA accreditation and registration in the security industry.
• At least 3 years of experience in retail security, such as malls or warehouses.

Advantageous Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar security role for at least 1 year.
• Knowledge of fire emergencies and health and safety procedures.
• Ability to communicate in a third language besides English.
