Key Responsibilities

As a P27 General Assistant, your main duties will include:

1. Sales and Customer Service

Assist in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

Handle customer enquiries professionally and resolve issues efficiently.
Work closely with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

2. Stock and Asset Management

Protect all assets including stock, cash, physical assets, and staff.
Follow correct procedures for stock handling, markdowns, and lay-bys.
Replenish merchandise on shelves and maintain the storeroom in an organised way.

3. Store Operations and Layout

Help implement effective store and department layouts to enhance customer experience.
Assist management in enforcing company policies and procedures.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise presentation throughout the store.

4. Teamwork and Communication

Collaborate with colleagues to complete tasks efficiently.
Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management.
Demonstrate initiative, integrity, and a professional attitude in all duties.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to plan daily tasks effectively and work under pressure.
Basic computer literacy.
Attention to detail and a willingness to follow procedures.
Ability to communicate well with people and build positive relationships.
