If you are interested in working underground, learning important mining skills, and becoming part of a company that values its workers, this opportunity may be for you. Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine is looking for Pump Attendants who are ready to work responsibly and support safe mining operations. This role is important because water control underground helps protect workers and keeps production running smoothly.
This job is suitable for people who want to grow in the mining industry and are willing to learn and follow safety rules every day.
Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine is a wholly owned subsidiary of Assore Limited and is known as a strong producer of chrome ore in South Africa. The mine is based in Limpopo Province, about 60 km from Lydenburg and 40 km from Burgersfort. It is considered a world-class operation with strong safety and work standards.
The company focuses on treating employees with respect and building a workplace where people can grow. They look for workers who match their values, follow rules, and take pride in doing their jobs well.
This position is based underground, and you will report to the Miner or a nominated supervisor. You will work as part of a team that makes sure underground areas stay safe and dry through proper water control.
Underground mining requires discipline, focus, and teamwork. You must be willing to follow instructions and safety procedures at all times.

You will extend pumping pipes to areas where water needs to be removed, especially as mining moves forward.
