About the Hygiene Operator Role

As a Hygiene Operator at Ecowize, your main responsibility will be to clean and maintain the plant according to strict Ecowize food safety standards. This includes following the 10-Steps Cleaning Process, which is essential for ensuring the site remains food-safe and compliant with industry regulations.

This role plays a critical part in making sure customers receive products that meet the highest quality and safety standards. You will also work closely with the team to manage daily cleaning tasks and ensure all operational processes run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

As a Hygiene Operator, you will be expected to:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks using the 10-Steps Cleaning Process.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment at all times.
• Take full responsibility for operational cleaning activities, including CIP and deep cleaning processes.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering excellent service.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks on time.
• Monitor and manage chemical stock control to ensure smooth operations.

Job Requirements

To qualify for these positions, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Deep cleaning experience is essential.
• Experience in chemical stock control is required.
