Minimum Requirements

• You must have an N6 Hospitality Certificate

What You Will Be Doing Every Day

This traineeship is hands-on, meaning you will be actively involved in many tasks. Here are some of the duties you can expect:

Kitchen and Food Duties

• Help with cooking meals, including food for the crèche
• Assist with menu planning and nutrition
• Make sure food is prepared properly and safely

Stock and Store Management

• Help with ordering food and equipment
• Do stock taking to track what is available
• Store and issue ingredients when needed

Administration and Support

• Work with suppliers and help get quotations
• Keep important safety documents like MSDS updated
• Make sure health and safety rules (OHS) are followed in the kitchen

Events and Training Support

• Help plan and run functions and events
