Minimum Entry Requirements

To be considered, applicants must meet one of the following:

Option 1

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Subjects must include Mathematics (not Maths Literacy), Physical Science, and English
• Each subject must have a minimum 40% pass

Option 2

• N3 qualification with subject combinations relevant to the trade:
  • Boilermaker Plater: Structural Steelwork/Welding Theory, Plating Drawings
  • Electrical Trades: Electrical Trade Theory, Industrial Electronics, Electrotechnology or Engineering Drawings

Option 3

• NCV Level 4 in a relevant trade, with all subjects passed at a minimum of 40%
