What You’ll Be Doing Each Day

If you’re chosen for the job, your day will be filled with action. You’ll help move packages from one place to another, making sure everything is delivered safely and on time. Here’s what your typical workday might look like:

Drive and deliver parcels to homes and businesses across Gauteng
Pick up packages from customers and bring them to the sorting station
Make sure every package is packed and loaded the right way
Help with sorting and organizing parcels at the hub
Scan packages and complete the right paperwork
Talk politely with customers and answer questions when needed
Follow all road and safety rules
Work with your team to reach daily delivery goals

This role is very hands-on, so it’s great for someone who enjoys being active and working outside the office.

What You Need to Apply

FedEx is looking for drivers who are careful, responsible, and friendly. Here’s what you must have before applying:

A valid South African Code 10 Driver’s License
A PrDP (Professional Driving Permit)
The ability to speak and understand English well
Good planning skills – know how to manage your time
The ability to work alone or with a team
You should be able to read, write, and do simple math

Be willing to follow all safety rules and FedEx policies

Helpful Experience

If you’ve worked as a courier or delivery driver before, that’s a big plus. Even better if you’ve:

Worked in international or domestic shipping before
Helped with sorting and dispatching packages

Already know how courier networks and tracking systems work
