Job Purpose

The primary purpose of the CIT Crew role is to collect and deliver clients’ money securely and efficiently, ensuring all collections and deliveries are properly recorded and verified. The position requires a high level of responsibility, honesty, and attention to detail, as you will be handling large sums of money on a daily basis.

You will report directly to the Operations Manager and play an essential role in maintaining the company’s reputation for safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be expected to perform the following duties:

  • Collect and deliver cash or valuables to and from clients securely.
  • Provide proof of all deliveries and collections.
  • Sort, receive, and distribute consignments accurately.
  • Maintain radio communication with controllers at all times.
  • Report all delays, incidents, or irregularities immediately to the Branch Manager.
  • Prevent and report any suspicious or unsafe activities.
  • Assist in ensuring operational efficiency within the team.
  • Undergo training to qualify as a future Custodian.

The job demands physical fitness, high alertness, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Clear criminal record.
  • PSIRA Grade C accreditation (valid and up to date).
  • Valid Cash-In-Transit (CIT) certificate.
  • Firearm competency certificate for business purposes (minimum handgun qualification).
  • At least 2 years of experience in the security industry or a similar position (experience at FSG is advantageous).
  • Clear disciplinary record.
  • Valid driver’s license (advantageous).
  • Must be physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
