About the Role

The Learnership Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire life cycle of Fidelity’s learnership programmes — from recruiting learners and registering them for courses to ensuring they complete training successfully and receive accredited certifications.

You’ll manage internal and external partnerships, coordinate assessments, and make sure that all learnerships meet SETA and QCTO accreditation standards. Your leadership will help learners succeed while maintaining Fidelity’s reputation for excellence in training and development.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this exciting position, you’ll need:

  • A Grade 12/Matric certificate (minimum requirement).
  • A relevant Degree or Diploma in Education, Training and Development, Human Resources, or a related field (advantageous).
  • Proven experience in managing learnerships or skills development programmes.
  • A solid understanding of SETA, QCTO, and accreditation compliance requirements.
  • Strong computer skills — proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transport (advantageous).
  • A clear criminal record with no pending cases.
  • Preferably living in or near the West Rand area.

Key Responsibilities

As the Learnership Manager, you’ll have a variety of duties that require strong coordination and leadership skills. These include:

  • Managing the end-to-end administration and coordination of all learnership programmes — from recruitment and registration to completion and certification.
  • Working with Quality Assurance and Skills Development Managers to ensure all programmes are accredited and compliant with SETA and QCTO regulations.
  • Providing learner support and monitoring progress to ensure high completion rates.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with employers, training providers, and stakeholders to support workplace learning.
  • Managing reports, audits, and compliance documentation for both internal and external reviews.
  • Submitting required documentation for SETA compliance and funding.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase learner enrolment and improve programme delivery.
  • Coordinating assessments, moderation, and evaluations with registered assessors and moderators.
  • Gathering feedback to continuously improve learnership content and outcomes.
  • Ensuring all training activities align with Fidelity’s ethical and organizational standards.
