Fidelity Security Group is one of the top security companies, dedicated to protecting people, homes, and businesses. They are now looking for skilled and motivated Armed Reaction Officers to join their team and help keep communities safe.

Key Responsibilities You’ll Take On

• Respond immediately to alarms and emergencies while armed.
• Patrol your designated areas to prevent crimes and ensure safety.
• Quickly respond to incidents and investigate anything suspicious.
• Work closely with control room staff to coordinate actions.
• Help stop crime by being a strong, visible armed presence.
• Write incident reports and keep good records of your patrols.
• Ensure smooth and safe handover procedures.
• Use skills to calm tense situations and avoid violence when possible.
• Follow best practices for threat assessment and apply the right level of force.
• Stay fit and ready to manage high-pressure, physically demanding situations.

What You Need to Qualify

• Have a Grade 10 or NQF level 4 qualification.
• Be PSIRA registered (Grade B or higher) with a valid Armed Reaction Certificate.
• Hold a valid SAPS Firearm Competency Certificate for Handgun, Shotgun, and Rifle for business use.
• Preferably have at least 2 years of experience in armed response or law enforcement.
• Mining experience is a bonus.
• Clean criminal record.
• Physically fit to handle long shifts and quick responses.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• A valid driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
